In the wonderful world of animals, we are well aware of the plight of the endangered species, those that are threatened and are on the precipitous brink of becoming extinct. These are the common suspects of species that have been well documented over time; Giant Panda, Asian Tiger, Asian Rhino, Polar Bear, Leatherback Turtle, Gorilla, Orangutan, Asian Elephant, among others. This is a top-ten list compiled byWWF (World Wildlife Fund), as reported in The Telegraph.
The list is of course much deeper, and includes species that may not immediately come across as endangered, and worse yet, they don’t receive the deserved spotlight. African Rhino, for example, is one of them.
A campaign for London-based Save the Rhino Organization, created by Capetown-based Stick Communications Ad & Design Agency, is a commendable effort to raise public awareness of the African Rhino. Brilliantly executed, using humor!
