Brand Building | In a perfect world, it’s all about spreading happiness

These quotes made me think about the way some brands make us feel. Fulfilled. Satisfied. Relieved. Gleeful. Happy! This is true for the few brands with whom we feel a connection, a link, a kinship… a friendship.

Brands that can go that far deep into our emotional level are those that are in a different league, they take on an Emotional Value, or even deeper… into the Symbolic Value.

A select few brand-owners know that… and their posse of brand-builders who assist them in reaching these ocean-deep levels of consumer connection. And ideally this should be a two-way street, arguing the logic that happy employees can will deliver a customers a happy experience.

Here are some of their quotes. Simple translation of my babble?“Delivering Happiness”, to borrow Tony Hsieh‘s philosophy. After all Tony built Zappos into an online shoe empire based on this belief. And he had fun doing it… all the way to market share dominance!
