From cars, planes, home appliances, electronic gadgets, even zippers and velcro… An extensive list of ideas that were inspired by nature. Why, even the wheel was inspired by a rolling pebble downhill, circa cave man era!

Here’s a look at Logos and Corporate Identity, and what could have perhaps inspired its design.

The things I stumble upon… never fail to surprise my own eyes! The logo design for Hong Kong International Airport, and Grameimpulse, Municipal Apartments in the city of Coloma in Catalonian Spain, definitely take design cues from their roof, or those in their immediate vicinities.

Hong Kong’s ultra modern airport on a man-made island in Chep Lap Kok was designed by Sir Norman Foster, is a marvel of modern engineering, and forms part of an elaborate web of infrastructure that was constructed to sustain Hong Kong’s edge as a finance, trade and business hub of North Asia.
