Quotes + Thoughts | On too many idiots running the world

Bertrand  Russell (1872 – 1970), British philosopher, logician, mathematician, historian, and social critic.

Although Russell’s been gone for a while, his above quote feels so relevant to describe the world’s condition today. Although I must say, being the eternal pragmatist, mankind has made some significant progress over the last few decades. Betterment is clearly evident, countries moving forward, economic engines on full steam, lifting people out of poverty. Yes, wars still rage on, and disputes and strives are still with us, but overall progress…. not too shabby!

The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent full of doubt.
