From inspiration to creation | Identity inspired by a guitar pick

Inspiration arrives unannounced, when least expected. It can come from anywhere, at the drop of a hat. It primarily derives from our immediate surrounding, triggering our brain-box to identify new solutions, give us a different angle of viewing a challenge, and simply finding better ways to run our lives, run a corporation, or merely… rediscovering the joy of living.

But before I veer of course, let me stick with the area I most blog about, Logos and Corporate Identity. The brand owners or those commissioned to create them could be inspired by nature, a place, famous face, character or animal (whether fictitious, dead or alive). Almost any organization would resort to the obvious choice of using visuals that describe their products and services.

And let’s not forget the fundamental identity… YOUR NAME… would more than likely adorn your identity. Over time it may evolve through some makeovers, but ultimately your name BECOMES your brand.

Here’s a look at Logos and Corporate Identity that may have been inspired by the simple Guitar Pick.
