The lighter side of branding | Remember the “brick” mobile phone? [2]

Still on the subject of the first mobile phone, here’s a fascinating timeline of the evolution of mobile telecommunications, from the folks at Gizmodo. It was created in October 1998 in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the first commercial mobile (portable) phone, the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X.

I hope it comes out legible, as it’s a rather long and stretched image.
