Let the spotlight shine on true home-bred design talent from Bali [1]

It’s a breath of fresh air to see great design talent coming from the Isle of Paradise, Bali. With it’s global popularity, and no easing in sight, Bali’s has gained a solid reputation as a world-class destination with accommodations and lifestyle offerings to suite an discerning market. And plenty of foreign talent have enjoyed the ride, with real talent or not!!

On a slightly sour or sarcastic note, Bali has joined scores of other “hip island (well, mostly, at least) destinations” that have been plucked out of obscurity and onto the global travel map. Carrying with them a posse of no-namers who seemingly overnite become the star designers, artists, celebrity chefs, and any other title under the rainbow.

So.. here’s proof that true raw talent – that is home-bred – still exists. Yoka Sara, Architect and Bali’s native son:
