Lighter side of branding | 2013 Lexus GS

Car ads are interesting to watch as the brand builders know that we all have emotional bonds with our cars, and buying decisions are made beyond the functionality that the vehicles promise. Admittedly we all lust for them. It’s more about a matching personality, and how we “look” in the car.
Car makers know this all too well, and focus on this emotional bond in many TVCs. That’s why I enjoyed this TVC for the 2013 Lexus GS in how it portrays all its latest bells and whistles. So it’s interesting how they made this TVC that makes the car oh so desirable.

LED running lights appear to frame the lower edge of teh headlights, while a large, semi-trapezoidal grill surround ensconces the primary air inlet and the Lexus badge, which itself seems to have grown in size
