Lighter side of branding | The human side of technology… [2]

Logo_Apple_US-10At its fundamental core, technology are man-made tools that provide solutions to every day problems and challenges. They help us make things better, easier, faster, stronger, and more efficient. And when you throw in the human side of it, then you get a very compelling role of technology.

Such is the message in this TVC campaign from Apple on the latest version of their smart phone, the iPhone 5. And the ad ends with the following voice over:

“Every day, more people enjoy their music on the iPhone than any other phone.”

They say, music makes the world go around, and music is the universal language of mankind that everyone understands, right? Oh and did I mention the TVC’s great background music? It’s a soft playful piano, ephemeral at first, louder later, akin to a light drizzle. Very fitting!
